It also has a pulse mode so with a 519061 pulse receiver you can use this tool outside, tiling, fencing, build a deck, any job that requires vertical or horizontal reference
The multipurpose base has magnets, camera tripod thread, survey tripod thread, and brass ferrules for attaching to wood. It also comes with a strap which you can attach to your ladder to make transposition of points easier.
Like all quality pendulum leveling systems there is a pendulum lock to ensure that the assembly is not damaged if the laser is subjected to rough treatment during storage or transport.
This laser has an audible alarm to ensure that if it exceeds the limits of self leveling it will let you know, no costly errors.
And it all comes in a hard padded case for extra protection.
